Not a Bathroom

The builders have taken to leaving a light on in one property or another over the past few days. Yeah it's really fun.

Since the Friday Homes portakabin has been removed (Monday 7th July) they are leaving lights on in different properties. This gives us an idea of how horrible it will be when the place is lit up like a fairground later on this year.  [Reducing light pollution is not high og Hutt City Council's agenda).

No, they won't use the blinds Urban Plus/Friday Homes are installing. New Zealand has a hate hate relationship with curtains and blinds on the whole and refuse to use themeven to keep their houses warm in winter. Just you wait and see.

On to the 'best' news.

What we mistakenly thought was bathroom pipes(see top of the photograph below) is, in fact, kitchens with extractor hoods that point outside. More proof that the architect did not even think to consider the local community and treats us all like excrement.

Hutt Council and the architect think less of the local community than anything else. No thought, no consultation, just stamp all over the ratepayers. No wonder three properties opposite these glorified dog kennels are hoping to move. 

So We will have five extractor fans spewing cooking smells into the gardens too. (I have no faith in any filters installed).
