The Post Boxes are in!

I am disappointed to the the postboxes installed in the small homes on Glen Road. I was hoping to see the foliage and 'trees' they might plant first ;-) 

The cute little post boxes are set so far back from the pavement so as to cause maximum inconvenience to the local postie and I am not sure how anything not C6 size or flat A4 will make it into the letter box but we shall see. 

 

The wooden railings that form a storage space for the wheelie bins now have open barred gates in front of them. I am guessing this will look quite smart with bright red and yellow lid inside them.  

The upside of this 'finishing' work is that the huge number of contractors vehicles cluttering up Glen Road has diminished somewhat.
