48 Glen Road

The first of the tiny developments in Glen Road (No. 48) has been up for two years and the first of the 'property investor' (I am assuming, as they usually appear after two years...) sales has just come on the market.

These tiny homes have a very small patch of grass and no planting (that I can see) out the back. If you look at the Professionals web site you will find all the details. I am not sure if there is room for much garden furniture in the entertainment space, but there are some lovely very small two seater sets at Mitre 10 that might be perfect.

Apparently it is walking distance from the 'shops'. As long as you don't want to buy much. The local New World supermarket is really small  and it would be lovely if it was larger. The staff are always friendly. There is also a good pharmacist/gift shop and the lovely local library spaces as well as a whole host of fast food outlets.

A friend who was looking to downsize a couple of years ago went to the 'launch event' by the developers and said the houses are extremely small. They are probably in direct competition with the tiny homes further up the road. It does have one advantage - it's finished.
