The View From

I am sure that Hutt Council has deluded itself into thinking no-one can see the works being done at the bottom of Tawhai Street in Stokes Valley.  Check out their 'covering' and how how impressed I am to be on the other side of it.

They are wrong about people not seeing anything - and hearing - anything.

This is my view from my living room and kitchen. Cute huh? I really appreciate their 'covering' don't you? I bet everyone inflicted with over priced new homes on their doorstep really loves them too.

Who is buying the small homes (cost approx. $700,000) with no garden and often no parking space? There is a cost of living crisis. Is it the 'Buy To Rent' property developers or is there other money being hidden as a tax dodge? I was told the housing market was on its last legs.

Here's another one! I can see right to Tawhai Street too. Impressive eh?

The view is almost as much fun as negotiating Glen Road's Friday Homes 'development'. Try getting down the road past the waterworks and builders. It seems that it is acceptable practice to block the pavement.
