A Noisy Week but..

In between bouts of bad weather, there has been a lot of digger noise, and best of all chainsaws and loud pop music. 

As you can imagine, that went down really well (not). 

The belief that noise stops at the site boundary is still a common misconception with work people. Or they don't give a sod and screw the poor residents over the fences in neighbouring properties. 

Here's the view over the fence and yes, you can see the diggers from our kitchen and living room. No one seems to bother that their diggers shove themselves into our lives even when the work people go home. 

Plenty of space to park the diggers but they end up beside our fence.

Nice.

The one thing in the contractor's favour is they have, so far, not worked at the weekend, giving those around Glen Road and Tawhai Street some relief from the intense noise. Friday Homes could learn from their example.
