Winter Digging

Overnight's temperature was close to freezing (C4) and I hope the diggers' drivers benefited when they started out at 7.30 a.m. The soil around here is heavy clay. 

The family cats are already avoiding the noisy part (OK most of) the garden. They are being quite chill in the face of the relentless undercurrent of rumbling though as they nap. An example to us all although I have a sneaking feeling they are so used to earthquakes they are ignoring it all😆! The garden is unusable when the builders are working.

OOOh a Treat!!

I have a snippet of video of the big blue digger moving around! I thought they were making enough noise to be flattening the soil at our end of the 'development' but sadly, no. They are doing that today!
