Blue Digger

 This blue digger was parked on the other side of the fence all weekend. You can imagine how welcome it was. 

They didn't work Saturday but it was very rainy. Unlike my late brother who would have loved to see this when he was five years old, I am not keen.

Monday we were back to noise and the sound of drilling so they can put in pipes that the Glen Road development didn't seem to get (although I may not have seen them take a week or two to put them in). 

A friend who we had diner with over the weekend lives beside the main road that lorries travel along on a constant basis. It sounds a nightmare for her and her cat family. Apparently Hutt Council put sensors up on the houses beside the road, but not hers. 

The Council seem to care little about the residents around the dozens and dozens of developments. Check the restrictions on building (not many).
