Seriously?

 The workmen finally went home and the noise stopped.

Then I realised they had parked their digger at the bottom of our garden in full view of ourselves and our neighbours. Is this stupidity or just plain 'I don't care about the local community'? The latter I think. 

Local Traffic

I have asked Hutt Council about the safety of the local intersection which is now very busy with dozens of trade vehicles parked in every conceivable spot and constant movement for deliveries (take the noise as a given). 

As people drive through the intersection without stopping, I have asked the Council if any safety measures can be put in place to avoid accidents there. I don't hold out much hope as the builders are allowed to do pretty much anything to the local community but unless you ask the Council does not realise there is a problem so....
